National Symposium and
Research Colloquium 2025

The National Symposium and Research Colloquium (NSRC) is a premier national platform that celebrates the power of research to shape ideas, inspire innovation, and drive meaningful change. Designed to foster academic excellence and interdisciplinary collaboration, NSRC brings together scholars, researchers, and professionals from across the country to present original work, share perspectives, and spark new thinking.

Now entering its 3rd edition, NSRC 2025 hosted by NIT Calicut is expected to attract three hundreds of participants from academia, research institutions, and industry. The symposium will feature expert keynote lectures, peer-reviewed paper presentations, poster sessions, and thematic workshops on cutting-edge domains. An exclusive Industry–Academia Conclave will provide a platform for dialogue between researchers and industry leaders, while Young Professional Talks will showcase inspiring career journeys and insights from emerging innovators.

Beyond its academic sessions, NSRC 2025 will also include lab visits, a cultural night, and networking opportunities, making it a holistic experience that blends research, collaboration, and community. By cultivating a space where curiosity meets purpose, NSRC champions research that is not only rigorous but also relevant — encouraging participants to move beyond conventional boundaries and contribute to conversations that matter.

IEEE IES and SCLA

symposium
The IEEE Industrial Electronics Society (IES) is a leading global society within IEEE, dedicated to advancing knowledge and applications in industrial electronics, automation, robotics, power electronics, and intelligent systems. With an active global network of professionals, IES supports innovation, education, and professional development through conferences, publications, and chapter-level initiatives.

The Support for Chapter Local Activities (SCLA) is a key funding program under IEEE IES that enables local chapters to organize impactful technical events, student outreach programs, and professional development activities. Through SCLA, chapters are encouraged to design initiatives that bring together academia, industry, and young professionals, thereby strengthening the local IEEE ecosystem while aligning with global IES objectives.

The vision of NSRC 2025 directly complements the goals of SCLA by creating a national-level platform for scholars, young professionals, and industry leaders to engage in dialogue, showcase research, and build collaborations. With its thematic workshops, Industry–Academia Conclave, Young Professional Talks, cultural exchanges, and lab visits, NSRC embodies the same spirit of local empowerment, professional development, and knowledge sharing that SCLA seeks to promote.

Thus, NSRC 2025 stands as a flagship outcome of the IEEE IA/IE/PELS Jt. Chapter's sustained SCLA-supported efforts, scaling them into a broader national platform that amplifies both impact and outreach.
