1. Eligibility
-
The first author must be an undergraduate (UG),
postgraduate (PG), or doctoral (PhD) student. (2025 pass
out also)
-
Co-authors may include faculty, researchers, or industry
professionals.
-
The work may be individual or collaborative, but the
primary contribution should be from the student first
author.
2. Major Tracks
Submissions should align with one of the six major tracks of
NSRC 2025:
-
Power Engineering – Power systems, renewable energy
integration, energy storage, smart grids, microgrids,
Power electronics and industrial drives, Electric
Vehicles.

Automation, Control, and Robotics – Process automation,
industrial control systems, robotic systems, autonomous
vehicles.
-
Sensors, Communication, Cyber-Physical Systems, and
Cybersecurity – Sensor networks, industrial
communication, IoT, cyber-physical security solutions.
-
Industrial Electronics, Signal Processing – Industrial
Sensing & Instrumentation, embedded systems, VLSI & ASIC
Design, Microelectronics & Semiconductor Devices,
Embedded and Real-Time Systems, Signal Processing
Hardware, signal analysis and processing.

Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Data
Analytics – AI models, ML algorithms, data-driven
decision-making, predictive analytics.

Computing Technologies – High-performance computing,
cloud/edge computing, software engineering, blockchain
technologies.
Authors must select the most relevant track during
submission.
3. Digest Submission Content & Structure
The digest submission must follow this structure:
-
Digest – 150–200 words summarising objectives,
methodology, and results.
-
Introduction & Motivation – Context, relevance, and
significance of the work.
-
Literature Gap – Key prior works and the gap addressed
by this study.
-
Objectives & Methodology – Goals and detailed approach
used.
-
Initial Results / Discussion – Preliminary findings,
supported with figures/tables.
-
Conclusion & Future Work – Summary of contributions and
future plans.
4. Formatting Guidelines

Use the provided NSRC 2025 Digest Submission Template
(Microsoft Word format).
-
Length: 2–4 pages (including figures, tables, and
references)
- Page Size: A4, portrait
- File Format: PDF only
- Margins: 1 inch (2.54 cm)
-
Font: Times New Roman
- Title: 14 pt, bold, centred
- Headings: 12 pt, bold
- Body: 12 pt, single spacing
-
Figures/Tables: Numbered, captioned, and positioned near
first mention
- References: IEEE style
- File Naming: FirstAuthorSurname_Digest.pdf
5. Submission Process

All submissions must be made through the Microsoft
Conference Management Toolkit (Microsoft CMT) at:

Authors must first create a CMT account (if not already
registered).

Each submission must include:
- Title of the work
-
Author names, affiliations, and email addresses
-
First author’s student status (UG/PG/PhD) and
institution
- Selected track (from the six above)

Presentation category: Poster / Paper
Presentation
- Corresponding author’s contact details
-
Multiple submissions by the same author are allowed if
each represents distinct work.

7. Presentation Guidelines
Poster Presentations
- Size: A0 (841 × 1189 mm), portrait orientation

Must be visually clear, concise, and self-explanatory
Paper Presentations

Time slot: 8–12 minutes (to be confirmed after
acceptance)

Presentations must include slides in a professional
academic format
- First author (student) must present the work
8. Review Process
-
Submissions will be peer-reviewed for technical merit,
originality, clarity, and alignment with the chosen
track.
- The Review Committee’s decision is final.

Accepted digests will be included in the digital
proceedings of NSRC 2025.
